Roller conveyor blast machine

Bäckman's roller conveyor blast machines are specially designed for blasting sheet metal, beams, forged items and welded structures. The surface of the product is cleaned of oxides, rust, mill scale and other contaminants, then further surface treatment can be applied, cracks identified etc. The material is transported through the blast chamber on a roller conveyor adapted to the dimensions of the product. The design of the machine is very robust, providing stable production in the most demanding environments. The high power wheel blast unit is positioned to ensure high quality, efficient cleaning. The installation's control system allows the automatic adjustment of factors such as speed, blasting time and cleaning media volume so as to optimise results and production economics.
